Matt and Rachel
Hi! Thank you for taking time to learn a bit about us. We have been married for twelve years and are eager to be first time parents. We have three of the laziest rescue hounds that we absolutely adore. They dote on kids and we know they will be great playmates and cuddle buddies to our future child.
We are a low-key couple that simply enjoys spending time together, as well as, with family and friends. During the summer you will often find us at our family cottage up north. From relaxing pontoon rides with the dogs to scaring each other with ghost stories around the campfire, we are never happier than when we are at the cottage. Rachel has so many fond memories of spending summers there throughout her youth. We can’t wait to give our child those same experiences.
Matt enjoys his job as an engineer where he designs equipment for planes. Rachel is happy to operate her own small gift basket business from home. She looks forward to being a stay at home mom where she will relish spending her days coloring and playing Candyland.
What I love about Matt (written by Rachel) I am incredibly grateful to have Matt to journey through life with. We met at a birthday party I almost didn’t attend. I am so glad I did! As we experience life’s ups and downs, he remains steadfast and loyal. Something I love about Matt is his commitment to family. His mom is single and he is always there for her in whatever capacity she needs. Whether it be repairs around her condo or meeting for brunch, he makes sure she knows he cares.
I’m also thankful for his commitment to our dogs. He feels, as I do, that we have a duty to provide them with the best care possible. Sometimes this dedication results in unexpected vet bills, but he takes it in stride.
What I love about Rachel (written by Matt) I value Rachel’s compassion for people and animals alike. She has a generous spirit and often uses her gift basket making skills to help out our local pet rescues, as well as, other charities. Whenever they have a fundraiser, they know they can count on her to donate a few of her baskets.
If you were to grant us the privilege of parenting your child, rest assured, we will remain committed to him or her for the rest of our lives. We will love that child beyond measure. We are also very open to cultivating a relationship with you, if that is something you are comfortable with.
Thank you again for taking a glimpse at our life. We would love an opportunity to chat with you, if you have any questions for us. Feel free to text us at 616-485-9259 or e-mail MaRa2adopt@gmail.com. Also, know that our profile is available through Morning Star or e-mail.
We wish nothing but the best for you and your baby.
